We changed all decorative halogen lamps to Cree warmwhite LEDs. The retrofit gave immediate reduction of grid power – 15kW, also the benefits are hundredfold decrease of maintenance need (no bulb change !) and reduction of cooling needs (HVAC power reduction, which was always a problem, especially in summer). Cost of retrofit: approximately 15 000,-€, return of investment 2-3 years. And the maintenance personal has one obligation less – no more everyday ladder-gymnastics
